The Germans were repulsed, being taken la the Hank Ly the Kreivb urtiiiery. Tho Germans suffered serious losses. London, May C, 11.4.5 p.m. Sir John Fronch reports that fighting ia progressing at Hill 60, where the Germans obtained a footing this morning, covered by poisonous gas extensi\oly used and favoured by weather conditions. A feeble, attack is proCOM ii fig. • Use of poisonous gas was made east of Yprcs. The enemy were, easily repulsed, our artillery inflicting severe losses on them.
