'Received May 7, 0.55 a.m.) Sydney, May 6. The seventh casualty list from the Dardanelles is as follows:— Wounded: Lieutenants Ross, Pattinson.
Died of wounds: Sergeants Shapley, Wardrop, Smith; Lance-Corporal Youngj Corporals Bowen and Sadler; Privates Smiles, Jarman, Wright, Devlin, Willis, Vagg, Cheal, O'Connor, Johnson, Day, Jackson, Yenning, Marks, Grant, Thomson, T. Smith, H. Smith, Sturdy, Grieve, Greenham, Cohen, Newmall, Thompson, Plummer, and Thomas.
Forty-ono men were wounded
