Sir John French reports that fighting is again proceeding at Hill 60, where, aided by chlorine gas, the Germans gained a footing. The French repulsed attacks at Calonne, in the Argonne, and in the Ohampage region, and advanced on the Fecht, in Alsace. In the Kois d'AiJly the enemy gamed aoms ground, part of which has been recovered. Stubborn-fighting is proceeding in Gralicia aud the Carpathians.
