The Germans again bombarded Suisaons, the cathedral suffering irreparable damage The enemy's counterattacks north of Perthes and north of Beausejour were repulsed. The Germans suffered terrible losses during the French attack on .Burnbaupfc, an entire brigade being destroyed. There is little news from the Eastern theatre. Four German attacks north of Sukha were repulsed. It is reported that the Breslau and the Hamidieh were seriously damaged on January 6th in an engagement with the Russian fleet. Greeks in Asia Minor are reported to be suffering terrible persecution as the hands of the Turks.
