The Colliery Employees' Federation is calling a conference to consider the formation of a new Labour Party. It is stated that the movement is the outcome of the Government's action in regard to the Arbitration Act, the nonintroduction of an Eight Hours' Bill, the. failure to abolish, the Upper House, and nigfit work in mines.
