Mr T. Y. Seddon, the Opposition candidate, is ar present touring northern Westjand in the course of his political campaign, and is receiving tory hearty receptions at all points. He has spoken at Otira, Moana, Wajuta, and Ahaura, being splendidly received with votes of thanks and confidence at all places. So far he is the only candidate in the field;'but it is likely sonteon© else will be brought out before polling day.
