FORTHCOMING LOCAL MEETINGS
Mr. Harry Atmore, Opposition candidate for Nelson, at Ranzau this evening; Wake-field, to-morrow evening, Mr. Field, Government candidate for Nelson, in conjunction with Mr. Hudson, Government candidate for Motueka, at. Wakefield this evening. Mr. Field at Hillside on Friday evening. On Thursday evening, at the Theatre Royal, Mr. Field will state the case for the Massey Government, and reply to the criticism of Mr. Atmore. All ladies willing to assist Mr. Field's candidature are invited to meet at the committee room, Bridge street, on Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock.
The Hon. ft. s MeKenzie will speak at Upper Moutere this evening ; Riwaka, to-morrow. Owing to the limited time at his disposal, Mr. McKenzie is unable to address the electors at Brooklyn, but invites their attendance at the Brooklyn meeting. Mr. McKenzie will, speak at Tui, Tadmor and Tapawera on Friday, and at Waiiti and Wakefield on Saturday. Mr. R. P. Hudson, the Government candidate for Motueka, will address the electors at Foxhill on Thursday evening ; Brooklyn on Friday ; and Aporo on Saturday.
