A BELGIAN'S LAST CURSE.
An inquest was held at Liverpool on August 19th, on a Belgian named Petri de Lafaille, a native of Antwerp. Deceased, who had been out of employment, was found dead in his bedroom, which was full of gas In n letter to his landlady, lie said: "In whatever way my dead body is disposed of, strictly forbid any religious nonsense to be performed. I die as I have lived, in the full belief that death ends | all. I also die with the last curse I I shall be able to utter for the ferocious human viper 6T Germany, the Kaiser." The jury returned a verdict of suicide.
