Wellington, Oct. 21

At a meeting of the Labour Representation Committee it was decided that the only seats in Wellington to be contested by Labour shall be East, South, and Suburbs. If more than one candidate- is nominated a postal ballot is to be taken. A letter was received from the Social Democratic Party declining to take any further share in tha deliberations of the committee. This party will contest Wellington North only", and Mr H. Holland was chosen as candidate

Ounedln, Oct. 21

At a meeting.of the Political Labour Representation Committee to-night, Mr A. Walker was selected as Labour candidate for Dunedin North, and Mr J. W Munro for Dunedin Central.
