Paris, Oct. 6

An aviator observed two reconstituted divisions of the Prussian Guards advancing, their heavy artillery being sent by railway.

A column of Lancers formed an ambush near the line, and blew up the train.

Two German soldiers were sentenced to death for robbing dead and wounded. A third was sentenced to life penal servitude.

French soldiers relate that David Kay, of the Fifth Lancers, was separated from his regiment and took refuge in a railway carriage. He refused to surrender, and shot six German officers befor© being killed.
