EFFECTS OF TURPINITE:
PETRIFIED SOLDIERS. Paris, Oct. 5
It is reported that the French, enter-
ing a chateau after bombarding it, found a number of Wurtemburg soldiers petrified, apparently the result of Turpinite.
Some were at the windows taicing aim, their fingers on the triggers. An officer had his mouth open in- the act of dictating an order.
