A NEW RALLYING CRY.

ROYAL INTERVENTION

London, July 24

Miss Beatrice Harraden, the novelist, in a letter to the Press, says the King's intervention in the Home Rule crisis comes as a rallying cry to women. A few weeks ago they heard that he had no power of intervention. Now he has not on-ly called a conference, but one of the members summoned is 'Captain Craig, who was responsible for the gun-running. Can people wonder at the unrest of women, and their increasing anger at the injustice meted cut to their cause? For women rebels, she says, there are no conferences with the King, but vindictive sentences and ruthless airests; for the men rebels Buckingham Palace is opened wide. Nevertheless the women are in good "Cfeeer and their unrest is spreading.
