OPINION IN GERMANY.
THE NOTE APPROVED
EUROPEAN COMPLICATIONS AGAINST SERVIA.
GERMANY AND THE TRIPLE
ALLIANCE,
(Received July 26, 5.5 p.m.) Berlin, July 25
The newspapers approve of the note,
The "Kreuz Zeitung" • says the labour troubles in Russia, M. Humbert's army revelations in France, and the Ulster question deprive Servia of much hope of support from Europe. Germany is willing to carry out her duties under the Triple Alliance to the fullest extent.
The "Tageblatt" says that, if any third party attempts to cripple Austria, Germany's power will be thrown into the balance in Austria's favour.
The "Neuste Nachrichten" says: — "Let it be known on the Neva that a Russian attack upon Austria means war with Germany."
The "Berlin Post" Stakes Austria to task about the nature of her demands, which are impossible. It doubts if Austria desires a settlement except by arms. Many Austrian reservists have loft Berlin to rejoin their regiments.
