ANNUAL^SHOW
The Nelson 5 Poultry Association, by advertisement, direct attention to their annual' show? which"will be held On' Friday and Saturday of this week. Numerous entries' have; been received, and kocn competition will prevail, in nearly all the classes. The total number of entries is 727, and more than usual hav e been received from, outside places, notably Wellington, Blenheim,-, and Christ-church... A liberal art union is provided, and the tickets for this also admit' to the show. An assurance is given that visitors will be mom than pleased with the quality of the poultry displayed. The fancy pigeons promise to be a leading ieature, and there will also he an excellent display of canaries and finches. .Every, endeavour is being made to make the exhibition a success. The public are reminded that this year the show is .being held for two days only. It will be opened to tlw public iat 3 p.m. on Friday. .
