CHINAMAN CHARGED WITH

MANSLAUGHTER

Sydney, June 15

At the inquest on Davidson, the coach driver who died at a hotel after a quarrel with a Chinaman, the son of the Weetalibah hotelkeeper gave evidence that after the quarrel Davidson said he had been stabbed, but there was only a slight mark on the body. Later he fell on the floor a couple of times. Davidson was removed to bed, and an hour later he was found dead. Davidson was drunk at the time.

The Chinese was committed for trial on a charge of murdering Davidson.
