Messrs. Thompson Bros., Ltd., report as follows on the Wellington fruit and produce market: —Values are firm at recently improved prices, and regulai shipping can be undertaken. Pears show l: decided advance, and all varieties are in good request. To-day's values are as follows: An exceptionally choice line of Josephines came to hand yesterday from Hawke's Bay, and realised up to 9s per half case; Winter Cole and Winter Nelis 11s to 15s per bushel, according to sample ; L'lncomrue 9s 6d to Us; Glou Morceau 8s to 9s; Bluementhnl 6s 6d to 7s 6d ; Vicars 6s to 6s 6d; Beurre Diel 8s (3d to 9s 6d; P. Barry 7s 6d to 8s ; Easter Beurre 7s to Bs. Tomatoes are practically finished. Grapes, best, large Is to Is 4d per 11). Walnuts, 7d to 7kl; hazels 6d; chestnuts 3d per lh. Cauliflowers 10s to 13s ; cabbages 3s 6d to 6s; pumpkins 4s to ss; marrows 2s to 2s 6d; parsnips 5s to 6s; carrots 3s to 4s —all at per sack.
