Even play followed the kick off, and then Rivals gradually worked towards the Nelson 25, whore :i free kick given by J. Hale, Burmp, and Huse were the pick of the backs, and Perry, Watson,' Gamboni, and Harvey were prominent in the forwards. For Nelson D. Smith did a lot of work m the back division, and Trott shaped well at full back. In the forwards Knight and Hunter (2) were the' most conspicuous.
