POULTRY ASSOCIATION.

A committee meeting of the Poultry Association was held in Mercer's Rooms 1 last ©voning, Mr H. Baigont presiding, land tuonty-iivo members attending. 'Anangomonts for tho forthcoming show, to be held in July, were made, and judging by the enthusiasm displayed by the local fanciers and the numerous inquiries received by the secretary from outside, the show promises to be the. most successful held in Nelson for some, years. In addition to the special prizes already allotted, Mr G. J. White has presented a cup to the working homer pigeon class. It was decided that all the special prizes be displayed in Mr Baigent's window, Trafalgar street, 'before the show. ' ' It was resolved: "That all 'exhibitors after penning their birds, bo requested to leave the hall." Mr H. J. AValters was dected a member of the association.
