NELSON RUGBY UNION.

Th© usual weekly meeting of the Management Committee of the Nelson Rugby Union was held on Tuesday evening at Stallard's rooms, Mr R. W. Stiles, president, presiding over a full attendance, of delegates. Several applications for footballs from schools in the district were received, and. it was decided to hold these over until the grant was received from the N.Z.R.F.U. It was resolved to inform the Marlborough Union, in reply to its letter requesting a visit from a representative team, that the union regrets that it cannot see its way to send a. team this season. The Referees' Association wrote regarding the misbehaviour of certain members of a third-class team during a game last Saturday. It was resolved to ask the club concerned to inquire into the matter, and render an explanation to the Union.
