"A TRIFLE CHAOTIC."

CAPTAIN HALL THOMPSON

INTERVIEWED.

(Received June 9, 8.25 p.m.)

Fremantle, June 9

Captain P. H. Hall Thompson, naval adviser to the New Zealand Government, is a passenger by the Osterly. Questioned as to his duties in New Zealand, he said he had heard nothing de-' finite, and affairs seemed to be a trifle chaotic. He understood New Zealand wanted to adopt as a naval system something different from that prevailing at present. He would probably remain in the Dominion for three years.
