STATUS OF PAID INSTRUCTORS

(Received June. 9, .11.5 p.m.) Buda pesth, June 9. The International Amateur Swimming Federation replied in the negative to Australia's question whether a swimming organiser and instructor paid by the Education Department could be considered an amateur.

The Federation carried an English resolution that the amateur status of a school master teaching swimming as part of the curriculum be not endan gered.
