' The Auckland Racing Club's winter meeting was continued at Ellerslie today in fine weather. The sum of £44,972 passed through the totalisator, an increase of £5,421 10s on the second day of last year's meeting. The total for the two days was £81,465 10s, an increase, of £12,998 10s on the first two days last year. . The following are the results :—* Orakei Hurdles; 130 soys; 1^ miles: Admiral Soult, 9.12, 1; Ruatangata, 10.7, 2; Napper Tandy, 9.4, 3. Also started: Rock Ferry, Nukuhani, Revelation, Centenary, Dandy Breeze, Fleet Arrow, Zak. Won by two and a- half lengths. Time, 3.32. lianfurly Welter ; 130 soys ; one mile : Goklfire, 9.3, 1; Monathol, 9.1, 2; Othewis, 9.0, 3. Also started: Glittering Sands, Hemisphere, Pupuru, King of the Valley,-Lady Middleton, Miss Avalanche, Takanini. Won by half a head. Remuera Hurdles; 350 soys; two miles: Teonga, 10.4, 1 ; Cloudy Dawn, 10.0, 2; Pip., 9.4, 3. All started. Won by two lengths. Time, 4.0. Great Northern Steeples; 1000 soys; about 3$ miles: Peary, 10.10, 1; Captain Jack, 10.0, 2; Ruffy, 10.6, 3. Also started: Bercola, Glenmore, Waterworks, Paritutu, Sandy Paul, Hauera, Goldborne, Santiago, Waterworks led twice round but the second time fell at the double in front of the stand. Captain Jack took the last fence in front of Peary, but the latter won by three lengths in the run ]«rae, Ruffy three lengths further back. Glenmore fell early in the race. Time, 8.14.

Prince of Wales Handicap; 500 soys ; seven furlongs: Haskayne, 10.10, 1; Bluestone, 9.7, 2; Prince Soult, 10.1, 3. Also started: Crown Pearl, Gipsy Belle, Kakama, Tripoli, Allegation, Jolie Fille Tact, Worchester,/Tangiwai, Tragedy King, Ovation, Try Fluke, Gerberga. Won by a neck, with three lengths between second and third horses. Time, 1.33 3-5. Jumpers' Flat race; 150 soys; H miles ; Admiral Soult, 9.10, 1; Ngatiruanui 10.12, 3; Wairiki, 9.10, 3. Also started: Mer rim ax. Icel, King Try. Cullin&n. Won by four lengths. Time, 3.54. Ladies' Bracelet; 130 soys; one mile: Self 10.10, 1; Yankee Doodle, 11.0, 2; Matawerewere, 10.0, 3. Also started: Carron, Coleranue, Duma, Kaihere, Master Lupin. Master Sly, Nimble I Foot, Try Fluke, Waldemar. 'Won by three lengths. Time, 1.49.
