Playing at Liverpool in the semifinals of the tennis tournament, Dunlop beat Powell 6—2, 6—3, 6—2. Brookes and Dunlop beat Read and Price I—6, 6—l, 6—2, 6—4. Doust and Mavrogordato beat Charlton and Redcliffe 6—4, 6—2, 6—3. Doust and Miss Morton beat Brookes and Mrs. Lambert Chambers, qualifying to meet Parke and Mrs. Larcombe.

Doust and Morton's score was 7—5, 6—l. The match was exciting, being fought in a gusty wind and rain.
