MORE TRADE.
Whilst Geordie was walking along the street in Newcastle the other day he noticed a' brass-plate with the words "Doctor of Music" written underneath the name on it. Going up to the door he knocked, and was answered by a servant who politely inquired his business. "Please, Mnney," he said, "is the doctor of music in?" "Yes," was the reply, "what is it you want?" "Wey," replied the knight of the piclr '■'thoo might just pop in an ax him hoo much he'll charge for mendin' ma aad melodeon ?"
