RIFLE SHOOTING.
On Wednesday a team from the Nelson Defence Rifle Club journeyed to Brightwater for a match against the Waimea Defence Rifle Club. Unfortunately the weather was rather unfavourable', but notwithstanding this a very enjoyable day was spent. The ranges were 500 and 600 yards, ten shots at each. The Nelson Defence Rifle Club proved the winners by the margin of 46 points. The following are the scores of both teams: — NELSON DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB.
