Press Assooiation.] Christchurch, June 2. In consequence of the general holiday for the King's Birthday the Addington live stock market was held today instead of on Wednesday. The general all-round yarding for all classes of stock was smaller than usual, and the attendance of firms of butchers and exporters was also smaller. The yarding of fat lambs was a comparatively small one, 2163 being penned. The range of prices ivas: Tegs 20s to 24s 6d, average weights 18s to 20s 7d. lighter and unfinished 14s 2d to 17s Sd. . Svoiv. sheep: Best lambs fetched 13s 9d to 14s 6d, good lambs 12s 6d to 13s Gd, medium to good lambs, lls 6d to 12s ■ 3d, very medium lambs 10s 9d to lls, cull lambs 5s Id. shorn lambs' 9s 4d, ou-e lambs 13s 3d to 16s, four tooth, wethers 17s 7d to 18s, two, four, and six-tooth wethers (very forward) 19s 3d, two tooth owes (lat e shorn) 17s 9d, six and eight-tooth wethers 20s 4d, aged c«n ewes 3s 6d to 4s 4d. Fat pigs: Choppers brought £3 to £o 12s 6d, ordinary baconers 57s 6d to-675, extra heavy baconers to 70s, light baconers 50s'to 55s (price per lb s}d).

Heavy porkers \fetched- 45s to 475, lighter porkers 38s to 43s (price per lb 6d).
