An organ and choir recital was given in All Saints' Church last evening by Mr John Tait, AJ1.C.0.. and the church choir; All the items were much enjoyed by the large audience. The solos were taken by Miss Killa Kerr.. Tile programme was as follows:—Sonata in C minor (Mendelssohn); .Romance in. G (Beethoven); Prelude and Fugue, i.v E flat ("St. Anne".) Collins; polo and chorus, "Lovely appear over the mountains" ■ (Gounod). The Thermometer.—At three o?cJock this morning the thermometer outside i this office registered 37 degrees.
