Rear-Admiral Madden succeeds RearAdmiral Moore as Third Lord of the Admiralty.

Rear-Admiral Charles Edward Madden C.V.0., has commanded tile becond Cruiser Squadron since 1912. Hft was Fourth Sea Lord of the Admiralty in 1910 and 1911, and commanded the Home Fleet in those years. KearAdmiral Archibald-Moore became Th:rd Sea Lord in- 1912, and was formerly Director of Naval Ordnance and Torpedoes. ■
