REFEREE APPOINTMENTS.

Wanganui, May 9,
A meeting of the Wanganui Rugby Football Union on Saturday discussed the question of referee, appointments. It was decided to do away with the mutual agreement, the- system which was in force last year, and to substitute an appointment board, consisting of a representative' of the players, the Referees' Association, and management committee. The last-named to have no past or present connection with the Referees' Association.
