ADMIRAL SPEAKS OUT,

STATE OF AFFAIRS SCANDALOUS

London, April 26

At the annual meeting of the Antir Slavery Society, Admiral Sir George King-Hall, late commander of the Australasian station, said that, the state of affairs in the New Hebrides was scandalous. Disgraceful acts were occurring on the island which were a blot and . a slur on such a chivalrous nation as France. He could not, he said, believe that the French knew what was being done there under the shelter of their flag.
