A WAGGONER DROWNED.

Gisborne, April 27. A waggon" driven by a man named Vernon was Jound on Sunday afternoon .overturned on the bank of a creek at Ngatapa. The waggon skidded off the road and fell into the creek. The driver was caught by the tarpaulin and pinned underneath the shaft and drowned. The two horses were also drowned. Vernon's body has been recovered.
