GOVERNOR'S ACTION CRITICISED

Sir Frederick Pollock, Professor of Jurisprudence, interviewed, on the Tasmanian crisis, said he had never heard of a precedent for Sir W. G. EllisonMacartney's action. He did not think Sir W. G. Ellison-Macartney had any right to attach conditions to the formation of a Ministry, and the Assembly's vote of censure goes near to asking for the Governor's recall.
