TELEPHONE COMMUNICATION.
Mr. W. W. Snodgrass, president of the Chamber of.'Commerce, mentioned the matter of the" inadequacy of the telephone communications throughout the district, and said that the settlers in the Rai Valley were anxious to get into, telephone communication with Nelson.. He believed if the line were extended it would be profitable for the Department. Telephone communication with Collingwood was satisfactory, but better facilities were required in the Tadmor district. Murchison was to have a telephone exchange, but there would be no communication with Nelson. He asked that Nelson be put into telephonic communication with Murchison.
