RUGBY LEAGUE AND THE FUND.
(Received Feb. 10, 9.20 p.m.)
Sydney, Feb. 10.
The secretary of the New South Wales Rugby League, in a letter in reply to the appeal in connection with the Olympic fund, says that the Amateur Sporting Federation having debarred League players without distinction from participating in amateur sport, amateurism should now have more decency than to appeal for funds to anybody associated with the Rugby League. If the restrictions are removed the Leagues will be pleased to subscribe.
