SUBSTANTIAL YEARLY INCREASE

Returns furnished by the Hon. R. H. Rhodes,- Postmaster-Central, show that the postage.revenue last year was :; e670,982, compared with £642,701 for the previous year. The re-v.cnno from telegrams was £327.140. as against ,£-508,876.
