The Central Produce Mart (Messrs lieilly, Gill, and Co.) reports as follows on tho Dunedin fruit and produce mar-' ket:—During the past week good cousigmueiitis or Nelson fruits have como forward, particularly plums, tomatoes,.' and pffli-Sj the bulk of the fruit reaching us in splendid condition, though in Friday's shipment about ISO cases were oror-ripo. On the whole very satisfactory prices have been secured, tomatoes realising 8s 6d, 9s, 9s 6d, 10s, and lls 3d ; nectarines. 4s, 4s 3d, 4s Gd ; gro.ong.-ig-. s, ss, 5s 3d, 5s Gd, 6s; purple gages, 4s 6d; Diamonds, 4s, <s 3d: over-npe fruit, 2s 6d, 3s, 3s 6d; ml plums. 4s, over-ripe 3s, 3s 7d; pears, W.8.C., 4? 3d, 4s 6d; poaches, 4s 9d; French beans, 3s 7d; apple,s, cookers, 6s 3d and 6s 7d, desserts Bs, 8s 3d per dump case; grapes, Is, Is Id •<>er Ib. There is every prospect of fair values being secured, provided fruit comes 'forward in sound condition.
