NELSON TROTTING CLUB.

The annual race meeting of the Nelson Trotting, Club is to take phco nt Richmond Park on Wednesday, the first race being advertised to commence at 1.30 p.m. Several special trains will be run for the convenience of intending town and coiintry patrons and citizens, are to be invited to close tlieir premises an hour earlier than usual to enable those desirous of attending to be on the course in time for the firsVrace. Judging by the proportion of acceptances received the'handicapper (Mr J. Noble, of Reef ton) _ has done his work well, the fields, will be uniformly good, and there is the promise of some interesting . racing. The course after the rej cent wet weather is in capital order, and with sunny days between now and Wednesday, should be very fast. Particulars as to prices of admission, etc., are advertised. • ,
