A HOPEFUL PROSPECT

Wellington, Oct 14. Mr Atmore, who followed up his statement in the House regarding the tenure at Timitangi settlement in the Rai Valley with an interview with the Prime Minister, secured an assurance that if the matter can be fixed up by regulation it will be done. The Minister believes he has power to extend the holdings without legislating. If so, it will remove a serious hindrance to the prosperity of the settlement.
