TROOP TRAIN DERAILEDj SIXTEEN MEN KILLED. Paris, Sept 18. Sixteen men were killed and 30 injured inta. French troop train accident at the viaduct at Villeneuve (Loiret). The train consisted of three passenger carriages and two motor coaches, and the failure of the brakes to act caused the front motor to leave the rails. The motor struck the^parapet, swung round, and hurled the passenger coaches into a wooded ravine 50 feet below. The bottom of the declivity was only reachable dov/n a steep and narrow winding path, which was almost impassable owing to heavy rain. The carriages are embedded in r.ud a foot deep.
