THEATRE ROYAL PERMANENT . PICTURES.
There was a large attendance at the .Theatre Royal last evening, and the programme was highly a^j^eGiatcd. An entiroly new star was included, en-titled-"Globe of Death." This film is absolutely new, and has never * been shown in the Dominion before. It is a manufacture of the famous Aquila Company, of. London. To. be able t» announce .the fact that tho management is in a potation to show new films > is somewhat unusual,' not only fan Nelson, but for any part of the colon-™ ies, but at considerable expense it has boon able to secure a x series of quite now subjects, which should .bo appreciated by patrons of the Theatre Royal. An appealing and most original drama is "Mrs Lirriper's Legacy," and the story is rich in sensational incident and dramatic situations, with a deep-laid and interesting plot. A charming romance of a poor boy's life, entitled "Little Jock O'Connor," tells .how an" orphan boy eventually comes into his own. "On the Threshold" is another story of absorbing interest. A clever comedy by the famous A.B. Company, "Tightwad's Predicament,'' met with general approval. COUNTRY TOUR, Tho Permanent Pictures paid their usual visit to Richmond hist night.
