26th ANNUAL SHOW.

The twenty-sixth annual show of the Nolson Poultry, Pigeon, and .Canary Association opened at tho Drill Shed yesterday. The entries this year are considerably in excess of those received last year, and the exhibition in every way is a success, the competition in the various classes beiiig keen, and the birds of good standard quality. Entries wero received from Wellington and Marlborough, and the visiting exhibitors figure prominently in tho prize list. The Association recently seceded from the South Island Association, and affiliated to the Now Zealand Championship Association,,a registered body with headquarters at Wellington, and in consequence several championships wero allotted the association, which was not tho case undor the old regime. Local judgos officiated this year, and gave every satisfaction. To tho secretary (Mr. F. Gibbons) much credit is duo for the admirablo arrangements made. Appended is the prizo list:— POULTRY.
