A "Paddy's Market" was opened in the Presbyterian Hall yesterday afternouri, but the boisterous weather a.ti'rcted the attendance very considerably, and it has been decided to open again to the public this evening. .The •'market" was -arranged by the combined Bible classes of tho Presbyterian •Church, tho object being to pay off the debt on the class rooms. The various stalls were well laden with a variety of useful and tasty, articles, especially the sweet stall, and very fair business was done notwithstanding tho weather Miss MacKenzio is tho secretary, and the' stalls and stall-holders are as follows :— Sweet: Misses Estcourt, Constable, Mitchell. Oldorshaw, J. Brown, K. Hood, McEwen . Cake: Misse., s Black, Hood, Gledhill, Gardiner, Wiiklowson, Mitchell. Fancy: Misses Batchelor, Howe, Robertson', J. Brown, Mitchell. „ Produce: V.M.B.C. 'Pen' kiosk: Misses Thompson, MacKenzie (2). Shennan, Clouston (2), Fowler, Harling, Boyce. Bran pic: Misses Walker, Watson, 11. Harling. \ ' In the evening ona of the main Attraction;, was an exhibition of the Patbe Freres home cinematograph machine kindiv lent by tho Wilkins and Kio'ld Hardware Company, and operated by Mr. Charles Wrebley. The picture programme screened was perfect in every way, and a large crowd took tho opportunity of seeing it. In the musical programme songs weii3 given by the Misses Dodds and B-.vtchelnr. and by members of the girls' Bible class.
