LOYAL WAKATU JUVENILE
LODGE
Tho half-yearly summoned meeting of the Loyal Wakatu Juvenile Lodge of Oddfellows was held last evening. Bro. P. Dayman occupied the N.G.s chair, and there was a largo attendance of members. P.G.M. Bro. T. Beli, D.P.G.M., Bro. W. H. Robertson, and P.C.S., Bro. yhrimpton paid an official visit, accompanied by P.P.G.M. Bro. W. Thompson, and several members of tho adult Lodge. The membei ship and finances of tho" branch wcro shown to be in a healthy condition, o,nd two nfcw members were initiated during the evening. In responding to a hearty vote of thanks, the district officers paid a tribute to the work of the superintendent (Bro. \Y. H. Prebble) and treasurer'(Bro. A. Cross), and congratulated tho juvenile brethren on the excellent position of the Lodge. Sympathetic references were made to Bro. Cro-ss, who was unavoidably absent through indisposition. After tho newly elected officers had been installed by the P.G.M., the Lodge was closed, and an adjournment made to tho anteroom, whero refreshments _ woro partaken of, and much appreciated.
