A BIG FAMILY MAN.
According to rocont Statistics, Mr. Thorn.as Ellison, of Walnut, Arkansas, is tho champion "big family" man. 'Ho i« new ninoty-tbroe years of ago, and tho birth of a son to 0110 of his .grand-daughters was announced recently. Mr Ellison married three times, and is tho fathor of fifty children, grandfather of 125, great-grand-father of sixty, and groat-great-grand father of twonty-sc-ven. His youngest child in eleven years old and the eldest sixtyfivo.' When interviewed Mr Ellison said he was neither a teetotaller nor a nfon-smokor. "I know," ho added, "that figures are against me, but I havo bsqn a strictly moderate- man all my life," except, it would eeem, in the matter of children.
