A PROVIDENTIAL FAILURE

Suffragettes oxplodcd a bomb in a cavity almost penetrating the canal embankment at Yardley Wood, Birmingham. If the outrage had been successful eleven miles of water would have emptied into tho valley, devastating the crops, and loss of life would have been inevitable.
