Commenting on the Atlantic cable motion at the Chambers of Commerce Congress at Sydney, Senator Findley, acting-Postmaster-General, states that a subsidiary conference regarding cable charges is still considered necessary by the Commonwealth Government, though Great Britain thinks it unnecessary because the-charges have been redu'edd sin.ce v the, .subsidiary, conference was suggested at Coronation time.
