The Dominion Meteorologist's sumrinaary and forecast, as from 5 p.m. to--clay, are as follows-— The storm experienced, yesterday in -'the northernmost parts passed during ;iho night, and the conditions have improved to-day. Strong cast to southeasterly winds have prevailed north of iEast Cape and Kawnia, and southerly winds have predominated elgewhore, with a rising barometer. Present mdi.- . cations are for fair to cloudy weather generally, misty at timos on tho coast, nnd unsettled in tho far north and jibout Foveaux Strait. Variable winds fi»ro probable generally, easterly breezes predominating in tihe north, »md niodoriite to &irong westerly winds in the southward of Cook Strait. Little movement ef tho barometer is indicated at present. i
