Colour-Ser-geant Bell, on behalf of the boys, made the presentation, and expressed the high regard they had for Captain Houlker, and at his call the boys gave three hearty cheers. Captain Houlker, in reply, thanked them for their gift, and said he felt very great rngrot at leaving them,, and he hoped they would -&lways endeavour to maintain a high standard of drill. He hoped many of them would avail themselves of the opportunity to gain commissions- by examination.
