AVOID OPERATIONS. j Extract from London "Medical Magazine" vfor May, 1910:—' 'These! fermentß obtained from tho papaw, are made up in the form of an ointment and gargle, and are recommended as an application to enlarged glandular tissues, tumour.s, and ulcerations. The present preparation seema to combine the most active ferments of the plant 411 a successful manner. Its activity is demonstrated by **»veral cases of Hypertrophy of the turbr?sl bodies, and in oassa of enlarged tonsils. After threg or four weeks' application there was very, vez^y marked improvement. There can bo no doubt that the preparition -is.unusually effective, and # should prove very serviceable, obviating the aecessity for operative procedures in many cases.
