A PARTING MESSAGE.

London, June 16

Mr W. A. Watt, Premier of Victoria, was entertained at a farewell gathering by the Empire Parliamentary Association. Ho thanked Britishers through the Press for the hospitality extended to him, and outlined the advantages Australia offers for emigrants. They wanted, he said, men and women for the land. They had a sufficiency of city dwellers. He believed Imperial trade could' develop without violating the fiscal views of anyone. Mr Watt hoped that English papers would devote greater attontion to Australian affairs.
